Heather has spent most of her summers on 7 Mile Island. Growing up she was fascinated by her father’s savvy Jersey shore property investments and quickly learned the value of owning a home. As a past renter and current owner in Stone Harbor, she has always kept an eye on the market and has become knowledgeable about the island, not only with regard to real estate but also its culture. She always felt drawn to a career in real estate and it’s fitting that she has launched her new career sharing with others her love for the island.

Heather is a keen observer and patient listener. She appreciates the importance of your home living space, customizing it to your needs, liking, and comfort. She has utilized her eye for space and it’s potential in her own home renovations and is often asked by friends and family for suggestions on how to make their house their home.

Heather has spent the first year of her real estate career learning the intricacies of the island resort market from Hugh and also from attending many outstanding real estate training sessions that COMPASS and the Compass family of Professional Realtors has to offer. Her training has included, but is not limited to, navigating their innovative technology, resource skills development, and relationship building. With her warm smile and infectious laugh, Heather has a natural ability to connect with people, and is looking forward to establishing long lasting relationships with her clients.

A Little More About Heather:

Heather was raised in Haddonfield, New Jersey, graduating from Haddonfield Memorial High School. She was recruited as a scholar-athlete to Princeton University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages in Literature (Italian). Heather continued her education in medical training at Jefferson Medical College and obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She then returned to Haddonfield, New Jersey with her husband, Jason Baxter, for a medical internship at Cooper University Hospital.
Heather’s professional career took a 10-year hiatus as she shifted focus to her home and raising a family.

Now Heather is excited about her new real estate career, working closely with her clients, so she can fully understand how to best help them attain their real estate goals.
In her free time, Heather enjoys cooking, outdoor activities like hiking, biking, or beachcombing, and spending time with her husband, Jason, and their three grown children.
