2017 AVALON & STONE HARBOR Sales Report

The Stone Harbor/Avalon real estate market once again showed increases in property values during 2017 for the FIFTH year in a row for Single Family Homes in both towns and for Condominiums in Avalon. These two sale categories account for 96% of all sales in Avalon and 90% in Stone Harbor.

On an annual basis you will notice that a much greater percentage of single family homes sell in Avalon and Stone Harbor compared to condominiums or multi units (i.e. duplex and triplex units). In 2017 in Avalon, 55.1% of all real estate units SOLD were single family homes and 41.2% were condominiums. In Stone Harbor, 59.3% of all real estate units SOLD were single family homes and 30.7% were condominiums. See the following pages for detailed information.
