Stone Harbor Has A New Police Chief

Christopher Palmer has been named Chief of Police in Stone Harbor, effective March 3. A 21-year veteran of the force, Palmer began his career as a special officer in Avalon and rose steadily through the ranks. He succeeds Chief Thomas Schutta, who retired after 30 years of service. Palmer is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and holds a master’s degree from Seton Hall University. He resides in Dennis Township with his wife and children.
