Did you know the Avalon Free Public Library is available wherever you are? Fear not, snowbirds and travelers of Avalon, there are a number of resources available to those who love the library from a distance. #CheckItOut with Library by Mail service – offered to all Avalon property owners. This service features a reusable mailer and postage-paid return labels for books, music, audio books, MP3 players, DVDs, video games, and more.
For those searching for newsworthy updates while enjoying the sun and sand elsewhere, be sure to use your library card for daily access to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal from wherever you are. Plus, there are a number of digital resources including OverDrive, hoopla, Creativebug, Ancestry.com, and Kanopy, all of which give access to the latest in best-sellers, movies, documentaries, crafting projects, and even a search into your family history.
We miss our traveling patrons and can’t wait to see you when the spring birds sing, but until we meet again, rest assured your access to the library is available 24/7/365.
