VISIT THE AVALON HISTORY CENTER THIS SUMMER!
Since 2001, the Avalon History Center has been welcoming visitors year-round and educating them on the history of Avalon through unique exhibits and thousands of photographs from the town’s past. Browse through a blast from the past and learn about the fascinating history that surrounds this little seashore island!
Be sure to visit for monthly programming hosted by the History Center and enjoy the ever-changing exhibits, currently featuring an antique Avalon lifeguard boat, the history of Avalon’s first responders, a display on the old Avalon Anchorage, and more.Plus, you can’t leave without your family photo with the famous pelican donated by Ron Griffin of Avalon’s Pudgie Pelican. New for summer 2018, the Center will feature an exhibit on the 50th anniversary of the Avalon Players.
